Niacinamide acts by inhibiting the transfer of melanosomes to keratinocytes, without affecting tyrosinase activity. It has a high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect, increases keratin, filaggrin and involucrin synthesis. It stimulates fibroblast function.
Niacinamide reduces sebum production, enhances the synthesis of ceramides, free fatty acids and cholesterol, strengthening the lipid barrier of the skin. The serum contains highly purified niacinamide of premium quality.
