Active components
A form of vitamin C in which ascorbic acid is esterified with ethyl. It is as effective as regular ascorbic acid but more stable. Due to its amphiphilic nature, this form of vitamin C easily penetrates the skin. It reduces DOPA-chromium to DOPA-quinone, which further slows down the process of melanogenesis and reduces the amount of dark eumelanin. 3-O-ethylascorbic acid is a powerful antioxidant, stimulates collagen synthesis, protects DNA from damage, has an anti-glycation effect, fights inflammation, inhibits melanogenesis, evens skin tone and lightens age spots.
Water-soluble form of vitamin C. Stimulates collagen synthesis and protects the skin from free radicals.
Fat-soluble form of vitamin C, which has a high penetrating ability. It blocks lipid peroxidation of skin lipids and lightens pigment spots by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase.
Specifically inhibits the activation of profibrinolysin (plasminogen) and its transformation into fibrinolysin (plasmin). It blocks the epidermal activator plasminogen activator, which is responsible for pigmentation and inflammation. It has anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties, and inhibits melanin production. Tranexamic acid improves skin barrier functions and hydration of the stratum corneum.
Has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Restores the protective barrier by strengthening skin cell membranes.
Has antioxidant and photoprotective effects. Controls tyrosinase activity, thereby evening out skin tone. It has an anti-inflammatory effect and protects DNA from damage. Stabilizes vitamin C and vitamin E and increases their effectiveness. Corrects signs of aging, increases the skin's protective properties.
Сontains 60 carbon atoms and its surface is formed by alternating penta- and hexagons. This makes it one of the most stable and powerful antioxidants, and it outperforms the effects of other antioxidants by more than 100 times.
The serum contains 3 forms of vitamin C in a total concentration of 16%: 3-O-ethylascorbic acid 15%, ascorbyl phosphate 0.5%, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate 0.5%
