Active components
Is a fat-soluble vitamin A. All skin cells are sensitive to retinol: it is involved in the processes of division and maturation of keratinocytes, affects sebocytes, melanocytes and immunocompetent skin cells. Inside the cell, retinol is first converted to retinaldehyde and then to retinoic acid, which is transported to the nucleus by carrier proteins. In the nucleus, retinoic acid activates specific genes responsible for differentiation, epithelialisation and keratinisation.
Has strong anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, fights hyperpigmentation and age-related changes in the skin.
Natural stable form of retinoids. Highly effective in the upper layers of epidermis and has antioxidant activity.
The modern form of retinoids, an ester of retinoic acid. It is converted to retinoic acid under the influence of lipase enzymes. Reduces hyperpigmentation and sebum production, tightens pores, moisturises the skin and has an anti-ageing effect.
Have retinoid-like activity. Influence on the expression of genes, which are responsible for keratinocytes differentiation and for collagen production without side effects (unlike retinol).
Zinc ions are essential for the retinoids’ conversion into retinoic acid. It has sebum-regulating, antibacterial, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties.
An active ingredient isolated from black pepper extract enhances the delivery of active substances.
Act in synergy with retinol. Effectively fight age-related changes and hyperpigmentation. Niacinamide reduces the irritating potential of retinoids. 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Stimulates collagen production.
Play an essential role in restoring the stratum corneum. Moisturises, reduce the skin sensitivity and hyper-reactivity (redness, exfoliation, swelling).

Cream is effective due to the synergy of 6 types of retinoids, each of them acts at different rate and at different levels: from the surface of the epidermis (retinyl palmitate) to the dermis (retinol and retinaldehyde). Bioretinoids supplement and enhance the effect of the cream.
